University exchanges SAM Ukraine

University exchanges SAM Ukraine

We aim to establish dialogue and further co-operation between the diverse regions of Ukraine. To this end, we have created an intra-Ukrainian university exchange programme, inspired by Erasmus +. The programme helps drive both educational institutions and students closer, and partner universities will start a long-term collaboration. Students will meet their peers from other Ukrainian regions and learn the academic programme from the perspective of different teachers.

The essence of the programme lies a collaborative student exchange project between two universities where they design the idea of mobility and assume the organisation. We support the universities financially by covering their administrative costs and pay-outs for the students. The exchange is based on the ECTS course transfer system, so students will not have to study the programme twice. For the period of mobility, they are enrolled in the receiving institution to enjoy all of the privileges of its students. They attend lectures, live in dormitories, and actively participate in university life.

We will open calls for universities to participate in the exchange programme once a year. Follow this page or subscribe to our newsletter to be the first to know when the call opens.

This is for exchanges between universities from different regions

We foster co-operation between the regions of Ukraine; therefore, we encourage exchange programmes between universities at a distance of 200 km. You will create a collaborative project but apply separately. Do not forget to mention your partner institution in the application form.

This is for universities experienced at coordinating mobilities

To participate in the programme, you must have partaken in Erasmus + within the last 5 years. This way, we will be sure you possess the relevant experience and infrastructure. We only support universities acknowledged by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

This is for various exchange projects

We have general restrictions for mobilities, but they still allow you to come up with a unique exchange concept. Choose the duration of the mobility: 4, 8, or 12 consecutive weeks, decide on several exchange students for the group: from 5 to 20, and then select the majors you find most suitable for the projects. Do not forget to provide us with an overview of the concept with reasoning.

This is for exchanges, where everything is covered

We fully fund the exchange, including administrative costs, accommodation, travel, and daily costs for the students. You can also get additional funding to cover the expenses of participants with special needs.

This is for academic advancement of students

We value exchange concepts that concentrate on students’ academic and personal growth. We try to make the exchange as useful for students as possible, so they do not have to pass exams at both universities.

This is for you!

We connect people and opportunities

We support professional and creative exchange between Ukrainians and their EU colleagues. This encompasses 20+ programme lines managed by us and a constantly increasing database of the best opportunities offered by other European organizations. This is just the beginning: more opportunities, events and acquaintances are coming.

We are all over Ukraine

We are convinced that we should go where our support and information are needed the most: out in the regions. Organising Pop-Up Hubs, creative entrepreneurship in the regions is stimulated, whereas the Mobile Pavilion sets our concept on the move.
