Digital Labs: educators from the south of Ukraine

Sector: Education
Type: Digital Labs
Location: Online with one offline event in Kyiv
Deadline: 23 May 2025 at 15:00 Kyiv time
Organiser: House of Europe

Intensive digital lab for educators exploring the rich diversity of peoples and cultures in the south of Ukraine.

Over eleven days, you will learn to find common ground and build connections across differences. Meeting the representatives of various national minorities, you will gain the tools to challenge stereotypes and colonial narratives, while engaging students with the topic of diversity through both formal and non-formal education.

As a result, you will leave the lab with a project management toolkit, a network of like-minded professionals, and a clear vision of how to share this knowledge further — by developing a project that brings greater visibility to national minorities.

When: 3-13 July, 9.00-17.30

Where: online with a one-day offline pitching in Kyiv

Language: Ukrainian and English with translation into Ukrainian

What do I get?
  • A space to develop a project making the national minorities more visible, introducing them to broader audience, and fostering lasting collaboration between schools and national minorities’ organisations
  • 15+ hours of practical lectures where you will learn how to nurture unity and diversity, challenge prejudice and colonial narratives, go beyond the boundaries of formal education, and manage projects
