Post-production course and film festival strategy workshop
This is a comprehensive post-production course and film festival strategy workshop.
Targeted at professionals directly and indirectly involved in post-production, participants will take part in a two-day intensive training online, which will focus on practical aspects of managing post-production processes and include a Q&A with a special guest. The course will also feature a film festival strategies and best practices workshop.
The opportunity is offered by the New York Film Academy (NYFA), a leading American private university founded in 1992, within our partnership with Netflix.
When: 17 and 18 September, 17.00-21.15 Kyiv time (including a 15 minute break)

Language: English with Ukrainian translation
- An intensive six-hour post-production course, uncovering how to set up an effective post environment and providing insight into essential terminology and paperwork.
- A one-hour workshop on film festival screenings, offering an overview of the top-tier and niche film festivals and teaching how to craft a diverse festival strategy, including tips on marketing and deliverables.
- A Q&A with a special guest.

- Senior Director of the Film Festival Department at the New York Film Academy
- Member of the board of the Film Festival Alliance and Panels Director of Tallgrass (Wichita, Kansas)
- Coached filmmakers to official selections at festivals ranging from Sundance to Bronzelens and to wins at the Student Academy Awards, the BAFTA Student Film Awards, the DGA Student Film Awards, and the College Television Awards
This course will benefit Ukrainian producers, line producers, post-production producers, directors, assistant editors, and editors that:
- Have at least one credit in a fiction feature, short film, or series
- Are 18+ years old
- Are citizens of Ukraine, residing in Ukraine or having left in 2022
- CV
- A screenshot of the title card or a link to your profile on any open-source film database (IMDB, Dzyga, etc.)
- A scan of your passport of Ukraine
