Support programme of joint Ukrainian-German cultural projects
This is an opportunity to receive up to EUR 20,000 for a cultural project that you will implement together with a public organisation from Germany. You can hold an exhibition of modern Ukrainian photography, organise a residency for Ukrainian and German artists, or make a street exhibition about our country's history. You must present your project in one of Germany's villages or small towns by the end of June 2026.
The competition is implemented by the Ukrainian Institute in Germany and Insha Osvita and funded by the Federal Foreign Office of the Federal Republic of Germany. This is one of thousands of EU opportunities for Ukraine.
This is a competition for Ukrainian public organisations that:
- Are officially registered
- Operate in the socio-cultural or educational sphere
- Already have or are just looking for a German partner
- Application form completed in English: tell about yourself, your professional experience, the project you are applying for, and the team. The file title is “Project title_application” with a signature and stamp, if so
- Scans of documents confirming participation rights: an extract from EDRPOU, a letter of intent from the partner organisation, etc. The file title is “Company's name_eligibility docs”
- Preliminary project budget, titled "Project title_budget" with signature and stamp, if so
- Letter of intent from the partner. If you don't have a partner, don't worry. On 27 June, the organisers will arrange an online meeting where you can find a partner organisation among the participants
All the documents must be in PDF format.
By 31 July, complete an online form.
The preliminary selection results will be announced on 8 September. After that, the projects still need to be approved by the German Foreign Ministry. Only then will the final winners be announced.
- If you make it to the pre-selection round, it does not mean that you will necessarily receive funding.
- The programme can fully or partially finance your project.
