This is an art residency for ceramists, painters and artists in Kuzemyn, Sumy Oblast.

In three weeks, you will create a work for an exhibition that reinterprets the Slobozhanshchyna heritage through the prism of modernity. The organisers will ensure that you have everything you need to work: a comfortable space, materials, and a mentor.

The residency is held within the framework of the project "Craft of the Four Elements / History. Traditions. Modernity" with the support of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation.

What do I get?
  • Three weeks in Kuzemyn in August. You will have a workplace, materials, access to research materials and support from a mentor
  • A fee of UAH 20,000 and the opportunity to implement your ideas
  • Participation in an exhibition at the Okhtyrka Museum
  • Publication of work in the catalogue and participation in a film about the project
  • The opportunity to hold an author's master class or lecture for a broad audience
