UK→Ukraine: Culture Sync: grants for cultural projects with Great Britain
This is an opportunity to receive up to EUR 11,300 for a cultural project involving professionals from Great Britain.
Hold an exhibition of works by British artists, organise a residency for Ukrainian and British artists, or a screening of British films at a Ukrainian film festival. You will have a year to implement the idea in an offline, digital or hybrid format.

The competition is managed by the British Council in Ukraine.
- Up to EUR 11,300 (GBP 10,000) for fees, translation, promotion, travel, equipment, materials and other project-related costs
- Additional EUR 1,100 (GBP 1,000) for inclusion
- Trainings on safety, equality, diversity and inclusion
You cannot spend money on office equipment (such as laptops, printers, etc.).
This competition is for non-profit organisations that:
- Are officially registered in Ukraine
- Work in literature, film, music, design, fashion, architecture, visual and digital arts, or at the intersection of art and art education
- Have experience in implementing cultural projects
- Can receive and spend grants
- Completed application form: tell about the project idea, audience, activities, expected results and long-term impact
- Budget
- Registration documents of the organisation
By 3 December, fill out the online form.
You will know the results in March 2026.
- Experience in implementing international cultural projects will be an advantage.
- The organisers prefer organisations applying for this programme for the first time.
- You can submit more than one project, but the British Council can only support one.
- You will receive money in hryvnias. Remember that you will need to pay tax.
