Museum Futures: grants for museums and cultural institutions
This is an opportunity to implement a project for your museum, archive, gallery or cultural institution.
Open a new large-scale exhibition, invite foreign artists to a residency, create an audio guide to the permanent exhibition, conduct research or bring another idea to life — you will have up to EUR 13,000 and a bit more than half a year to implement the idea.
The competition is sponsored by RIBBON International and Mystetskyi Arsenal.
- From almost EUR 7,000 to EUR 13,000 (USD 8,000–15,000) for exhibitions, residencies, publications, interdisciplinary studios, digital services, educational projects, fees, rent and other expenses
- Educational and networking meetings from Mystetskyi Arsenal
The grant supports museums, archives, galleries, public organisations and cultural institutions that:
- Are officially registered in the territory controlled by the Government of Ukraine
- Care for or exhibit extensive collections of visual art: painting, graphics, photography, cinema, media art
- Can receive and spend grants
- Completed application form: tell about yourself and the project you are applying for
- Budget in this form
- Organisation registration documents
- CVs of key team members
- For NGOs — a memorandum of cooperation with a state or municipal institution

The results of the competition will be announced on 22 December.
- Individuals, private entrepreneurs, political parties, commercial and religious organisations, as well as institutions located in temporarily occupied territories, cannot apply for the grants.
