This is an opportunity to focus on your media project during a two-week residency in the warm and bright walls of the University of Regensburg.

Work on an article, report, long read, story or photo project. The organisers will provide a comfortable workspace, access to the library, and EUR 1,400 per week to help you settle in.

The programme is provided by the University of Regensburg, with support from the DAAD and the German Federal Foreign Office. This is one of thousands of EU opportunities for Ukraine.

What do I get?
  • Up to two weeks of residency at the University of Regensburg. Choose any time between May and November.
  • EUR 1,400 per week

  • Networking and the opportunity to organise an exhibition or presentation of your book or film
Can I apply?

This fellowship is for Ukrainian journalists, videomakers, photographers, and writers who want to create strong material about Ukraine.

What do I need to apply?
  • CV
  • Project description: tell us what you will be working on and how the Regensburg residency will benefit you — up to 3 pages
  • A selection of works you are proud of: articles, books, films, interviews or other materials

The documents must be in English or German. Remember to indicate how long you want to stay at the university.
