Connections through Culture: grants for cultural projects with Great Britain

This is a chance to get almost EUR 12,000 for a joint cultural project with Great Britain.
Invite a British mentor to a residency for artists with Down syndrome, create an inclusive play about climate change with the participation of people with hearing impairments and show it at a theatre festival in London, or bring a British band to a local indie festival — you will have a year to implement and complete freedom regarding the format.
Last year's winners list will help you better understand what the organisers expect.
Join the live sessions on 30 June and 1 July to learn about the programme's peculiarities and ask the manager questions.
The competition is offered by the British Council.
What do I get?
Almost EUR 12,000 to cover the project cost, including fees, translation, promotion, travel, equipment, materials, and other expenses.
Can I apply?
The grant is ideal for Ukrainian artists and cultural organisations that:
- Have a portfolio of cultural projects
- Want to implement a project with the UK and have a local partner
- Have experience in architecture, design and fashion, crafts, film, literature, music, theatre and dance, visual and digital arts or at the intersection of art, science and technology
- Are registered in Ukraine as an individual entrepreneur, LLC, charity foundation, public or state organisation

How do I apply?
By 12 August, please complete the online form. You will receive the results in October.

- You can submit multiple projects, but the British Council can only support one.
